The True Lavender or Lavender Angustafolia is also called Fine Lavender or Female Lavender. It is grown at average altitudes from 800 to 1300 meters. The olfactory qualities of its essential oil are coveted by perfume-makers. Lavender is a tonic, antiseptic, sedative, calms the digestive system, an antispasmodic and diuretic.
